This may be simply the best, most luxurious and most expensive hotel in Amsterdam. Notable regular guests include celebrities such as Madonna, The Rolling Stones and Michael Jackson. Located next to the old city center, the hotel is beautifully situated on the banks of the Amstel and has a lovely riverside terrace, as well as a garden. The Carré Theatre is within walking distance, and all other theaters, museums, restaurants and clubs are within easy reach by tram, metro and (water) taxi. Prices do not include the 5% city tax.
