The museum is the offical home of the city's art collection. Built in 1926, it possesses artifacts right from the seventeenth century, which include militia portraits, the guild silver collection, and the David and Goliath statues. Several prominent citizens have also contributed private collections to the museum. Today, it has over 45,000 objects on display. Entry for Adults: EUR6, EUR3 for children between 6-18 years (children under 6 can enter free).
