During December Amsterdam is surely one of the most beautiful places in the world. This cosmopolitan city seems to glow with a fairytale atmosphere in the weeks before Christmas. One of the most beautiful places, from where you can absorb all of the Christmas atmosphere around you, is the Museumplein. From 7th to 24th December this beautiful old square is not only decorated with Christmas lights, to give you that little extra Christmas spirit, but you can also skate on the artificial skating rink, make pretty Christmas flower arrangements and there are all kinds of shows and performances.
