Kok is, along with De Slegte on the Kalverstraat shopping street, the biggest second hand and antiquarian bookshop in Amsterdam. It is located near Dam Square and the Nieuwmarkt, in the Red Light District. The store is well known for its large stock on a variety of topics, ranging from art to travel books. Apart from its two floors housing modern second hand books, Kok also accommodates an even larger section of antiquarian books, which you can also access on the internet.
