Bert's Bierhuis sells 800 different kinds of beer. Located on the other side of the Bloemgracht (in Amsterdam Old-West) this is the ideal place to search for that special foreign beer. Mexico, Jamaica, Suriname, South-Africa, India, Indonesia and Japan are all represented here. However, for a beer closer to home - breweries of the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Denmark, England and Scotland are also well represented. Beers such as Trappist and Gueuze are in stock too. If you are overwhelmed by the variety, you can always ask for professional advice, or take a tour around the shop. Bert's bierhuis organises frequent tasting afternoons, so you can get a taste and feel for all the different beers.
