This is a more intimate cinema just around the corner from Leidseplein displaying lesser-known and foreign films. It is made up of several smaller theatres—one of which, the Jean Vigo, is probably the size of your living room. Regular admission price is EUR7 for adults, and it is possible to reserve tickets if you're prepared to arrive 30 minutes before the show. You can have a drink or snack in its lobby with padded walls and funky cow stools. Reduced rates are offered for matinees (except at weekends), students and seniors.
