Nicely furnished roomy pub with many easy chairs. Always full up with a clientele made up mainly of middle-aged married couples which have come to Amsterdam from the provinces, mixed with young lovers making as if they have been married for years. These people seem not really used to the actual pub life going on in the neighbourhood. There is a small terrace on the busy Spuistraat which is sheltered from the rain. On tap: Vos, Wieckse Witte and others.
