The Dantzig cafe-restaurant is within walking distance of the Rembrandtplein and Theater Carré. During the daytime it looks like a Parisian Grand Café where people walk in and out all the time. At night it serves as a very nice restaurant with an informal atmosphere. A classical theatre-like interior with some modern accents lurks within this cafe-restaurant, whilst outside Dantzig owns probably one of the largest terraces of Amsterdam. Sitting on this sometimes very busy terrace you have a wonderful view of the river Amstel without any traffic to bother you. The service is quick and the staff always smiling. The menu changes each month. On this menu you can find bread, salads and tasty daily dishes at low prices. If you would like to have dinner here, you will have to reserve a table in advance.
