District V (five) is a brand new and very classy restaurant located in the heart of one of Amsterdam's most famous districts, 'De Pijp'. If you are going to have dinner here you should be warned that two things are a bit unusual. First of all they don't have a regular menu. Specialties of the day are written on a small blackboard and then dictated by your server. The menu usually includes a choice of 3 starters, three main courses and four desserts. Although your choices are somewhat limited, there is something here for just about everyone. The restaurant's second unusual characteristic is that everything here is for sale - the lights, the sliverware, the table - in short, you can take this place home with you.
