This is an excellent place to visit, whether you're in the neighbourhood or just in the mood for something different. Do Carioca is a one hundred percent Brazilian restaurant. They offer, as most South American restaurants in Amsterdam do, a broad range of charcoal grilled meat platters ranging from a 200-gram steak to a 300-gram fillet of beef. All dishes are served with either salad, rice, chips or a jacket potato. Although the speciality here is meat, the menu also features two fish dishes. Twelve starters are also available. To get into the mood, try a Brazilian cocktail or beer before dinner. In the summertime, it is possible to have your meal outside on the terrace.
