The Energis Open is held at Amsterdam's Tenniscentrum. This is the biggest clay court tennis tournament in the Netherlands, and it draws players from all over the world. Previously known as the 't Melkhuisje, this is one of Amsterdam's most popular sporting events. The venue can seat 5,500 spectators around the centre court, and it's usually full. The USD400,000 prize money attracts high-class players. Past years' play saw Spain's Alex Corretja beat Younes El Aynaoui of Morroco in an epic five-set confrontation that lasted 3 hours and 40 minutes.
