For over 200 years, the classicist building (designed by Jacob Otten Husley, 1738-1796) of Felix Meritis (Fortunate through Merits) has been the venue for activities whereby not only arts but also science (both at the European level) are the centre of attention. No less than five halls are used for these activities. Stage arts take place in the Concert Hall and the Zuilen Hall. For conferences, work shops and seminars there are the Shaffy Hall, the Koepel Hall (Dome Hall) and the Teeken Hall. Thanks to the great variety of activities which are related to mobility, networking, development of theories and further education, many people will find their way to this century-old organisation.
