As Amsterdam's annual Canal Festival, this event puts on five days of classical music concerts along two of the city's main canals. Top international musicians and new talent perform in well over 70 concerts. Performances take place indoors and outdoors, and the festival culminates in the Prinsengracht concert on a floating stage in front of Hotel Pulitzer. On top of the Prinsengracht concert, the festival's biggest highlight is a series of free performances given in the gardens, homes and roof terraces of canal-side residents. There is also a special children's concert. Admission: varies; some concerts are free. Timings depend on the performances.
