The iT is located in the heart of Amsterdam, near Rembrandtplein and is probably Amsterdam's most famous and best discotheque. What started out as a mere gay disco many years ago is now frequented by straight people too. As you can tell from the photo gallery outside, the atmosphere in the iT is quite extravagant and maybe even a little kinky, so if you plan on visiting this place, it's better to be dressedin the right way. Saturday is gay only night, but on other nights straight people are also welcome. The house DJs include: DJ Stephen, Marcello and the world famous DJ Jean. The iT tends to feature trance house music. Admission prices vary from EUR10-EUR15.
