Every July, the Amsterdam Stadsschouwburg, together with Theatre Bellevue, Paradiso, DWA and Van Baasbank and Baggerman, presents this unique dance festival. The event takes place in the theaters around the Leidseplein and occasionally in Vondelpark. Julidans features contemporary dance, primarily performed by foreign dance groups and choreographers. The goal is to show unconventional and renewed dance performance with high artistic value. Lesser-known artists are featured alongside renowned performers.
