A joint venture between the International Documentary Film Festival and Cinekid, Amsterdam's children's film festival, this annual day-long event showcases an international selection of documentaries made by or for children. Recent entrants have included Solo: the law of the Favela, about young people living in Brazilian slums. Participants are asked to submit ideas for documentaries, and the winning concept is eventually produced and exhibited. Ticket prices and the program vary from year to year. Screenings are normally at the Amsterdam Film Museum.
