Le Hollandais serves regional French food and is located along the river Amstel, within walking distance from the Amstel Hotel and theatre Carré. You can choose dishes from their rather special menu in the modernly lit, classical dining room, which is in the mezzanine. Downstairs there is a good bar and an open-plan kitchen. The dishes on offer are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. For an appetizer, try its wonderful fish-soup with cheese and croutons. Main courses are varied and a three-course set menu is also offered.
