De Peperwortel is located near the Vondelpark, and that comes in very handy, especially during the summer months. When you forget to bring some good food on a nice sunny Sunday afternoon, just go and buy something here. You can buy delicious freshly made sandwiches and salads here, as well as full meals and a variety of vegetarian dishes. Besides this, they have a good selection of wines. During the summer months you can get a complete, full picnic hamper if you wish. The only thing you have to bring yourself is a large rug for the grass.
