Rose's Cantina is probably the oldest Mexican restaurant in The Netherlands, and it is located right in the centre of Amsterdam on one of its busiest streets. It opened its doors as early as 1980 and is still quite popular amongst local residents. The Cantina serves traditional Mexican cuisine, prepared with free-range meat and chicken. The large bar inside offers an array of cocktails and a large selection of other drinks such as Mexican beer. The menu shows a lot of variation. All traditional Mexican dishes are served with guacamole, beans, or rice. In addition, it serves daily specials and steaks. In the summertime it is possible to enjoy your meal out on the patio.
