Located on the edge of the Museumplein, this museum boasts a large collection of modern art including sculptures, paintings, posters and new media, mostly dating after 1945. Mondriaan, Malevich, Picasso, De Kooning and Rietveld are all represented. Young artists are featured adjacent to large retrospectives of acclaimed artists. Guided tours in several languages can be requested two weeks in advance. Admission: adults EUR9; youths 7-16 & seniors 65+ EUR4.50.
