The translation of Struisvogel is ostrich and it comes as no surprise that ostrich is this small, intimate restaurant's speciality. It serves a three-course menu that changes every month. Don't be afraid, if you don't feel like eating a bird that can grow bigger than you, you can always choose from a selection of other lovely dishes. It's all just very cosy and friendly, the owners can only seat about 35 people so you'll have to reserve to make sure you get a table. To show that they take their name seriously, they top off their menu by serving something called ostrich beer - bless them and their ostrich-loving tendencies.
