Tempo Doeloe is distinctive in that it is a member of Selected Indonesian Restaurants. It has a very cosy atmosphere, is easy to reach from the Rembrandtplein and offers many traditional Indonesian dishes. The food is rather spicy, but to make it a little easier for you to choose, the level of spiciness is coded on the menu. Ten appetizers are offered including the very famous Indonesian dish gado gado, which includes various vegetables in peanut sauce. The sate kambing (goat's meat) is to be recommended. Various chicken, meat or fish dishes can be ordered as a main course. It is also possible to order a rice-table, a set menu or a vegetarian platter.
