De Proeverij (The Tastery) has good food, excellent wine and a great café atmosphere. If it's just a glass of exquisite French wine, or a good meal, or both you're looking for, this is the place to be. Tastefully decorated interior on two levels with wood moldings on the ceilings, wood paneling on the walls and tiled floors. They have a good selection of tapas, soups, starters, main courses and desserts. The specialty here, though, is wine, at extremely reasonable prices, supplied by Wijnkooperij Otterman. Wine tasting can be arranged for parties of six or more.
